Pin below the thumb w/ mass basis on positive side can be an effective layout for spinners and/or some high rev payers. EJ won a PBA national title with this layout a number of years ago.

I have them both. Put a short pin on the pink and a high flare on the slammer. Next is the purple widow and was curious if i should drill it stronger for another arsenal urethane.?

If you were to put a normal pin up layout, would this ball be useful? Curious if you can make the ball belly or will the core just make it puke.

Why do you have your thumbhole far to the right? That’s how I want my ball drilled but the shop owner kept arguing with me that it wouldn’t make a difference. There’s a certain way I like the ball resting in my hands from initial to release, and the way it’s drilled now, I have to adjust the angle of my thumb and fingers while in the ball.

@BrunsNick PAP Left 5 & Up 1 3/8 Layout 30 x 4 1/4 x 35° Thumb-in Lefty Low rev Throw 15-20 mph (at pins) My PSO drilled a Theorem for me today. I accidentally learned that all of my balls, drilled at 30 x 4 1/4 x 35° are actually not hooking unless I force myself to throw under 10 mph. That's not easy. Any tips to get my Theorem, Perfect Mindset, and Infinity to hook at faster speeds? They all go straight at my normal speeds.

just curious why your two fingers holes are not drilled evenly.. (side by side).. it looks like your middle finger is place further out than your ring finger. Is this layout common? if so, what would you call this layout? thanks

I wish we could’ve seen stats comparing your release with the ice pick and without it lol. I guess this is what the Turbo Rev finger insert is supposed to do as well.

I stand at 35 and throw/loft the ball out to the third arrow (board 15). But I must make sure that my right arm is in front of my right leg when I do it. If it is off to the side of my body, the shot will likely miss to the right and go in the gutter. Some days I can hit the 10-pin no problem using my system and I throw with confidence. Other days, that pin looks so far away and I doubt myself too much and sure enough will miss it. Sometimes I throw it too far to the left of the 10-pin because I didn't line up at the correct angle to hit it (you would think I'd at least clip the left corner of the pin but that rarely happens, instead I miss it by what looks like a fraction of a fraction of a fraction). Had the 6-pin been standing, it would have been a great shot.

I am considering buying this ball for a high oil house shot, but I do not know my PAP. How important is the drill layout on an asymmetric like this compared to symmetric balls?

I bought this ball strictly for the fact that is has the same colors as The Total Inferno….. and that’s my FAVORITE Brunswick ball of all time

I would say two handed best for kids, females, short people and house ball casual bowling. It will kill the sports off from uniqueness, still is a style worth to learn but not something all must converted to.

I went bowling for the 1st time In 14 years and the approach at the facility was sticky. I have always been a slider and well with the sticky lane and unable to slide I messed up my knee pretty good. But I was dumb and soldier through and bowled 3 games in total. Through the process I had to adapt quickly to planting and really had to think about it on my approach for every shot. To my surprise I bowled a 198 1st game out. Ended with a 529 series... Alcohol and my sore knee slowed me down in the 2nd 2 games. But like you said in the video did it change your game as for me no it did not I still bowled the same as if I was still sliding and yes this time around it may have hindered my pin count a little bit. Like I said it has 14 years and adjusting to the sticky approach. Also it was my 1st bowling at this particular place. All in all I still had a great time though my knee says otherwise...lol

I went from a 12lb brunswick pearl to 15lb brunswick quantum bias, that ball is amazing

You throw better with 16lb. If 16lb will not be a good weight, or they left pins bla bla bla. If they weren't good. The brands would have already discontinued them.

This ball was the one I just threw my first 300 with, on just the 5th game with it too! It lays out so perfectly for my style of bowling (quick two-hander with ~450rpm)

Thoughts on drilling one of these pin down?
